These 5 Actors Deserve Oscar

Winning an Oscar is considered as ultimate success of an actors life. But there are many actors in Hollywood who has done amazing work over the years but never received an Oscar. I am sure list of such actors is quite long but I shortlisted 5 of my favorite actors from Hollywood.

Leonardo DiCaprio

An American film actor. I don’t think anyone can forget his role in Titanic, which is considered as on of the best movie in history of cinema. Every role he has played been perfect and critically acclaimed world over and was awarded various international awards  He has been nominated for five Academy Awards but never received one. Not only his movies were critically acclaimed but became box office success also, Shutter Island (2010) and Inception (2010) have done really good business all over the world. His other renowned movies include Catch Me If You Can (2002), Gangs of New York (2002), The Aviator (2004), Blood Diamond (2006), The Departed (2006), Revolutionary Road (2008), Django Unchained (2012) and The Wolf of Wall Street(2013).

Hugh Grant

Famous British face in the world cinema, know for his epic romantic movies. His movies are appreciated world over, he has recieved many international awards but never been nominated for Oscars. His long list of movies include many roles which no other actor could have done justice to. His golden movies include Notting Hill (1999), Music and Lyrics (2007), Small Time Crooks (2000), Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) and many more

Jim Carrey

He is a Canadian American actor, producer and comedian, know for his strange comedy roles, funny faces. Throughout his carrier his movies are heavily comedy based, he is perfect in what he does I bet if any other actor could have done the movie The Mask so well as he did. His other commendable works include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Brad Pitt

Quoted as one of the most attractive man in the work is a fine American actor. His is also famous as the husband of Angelina Jolie. You may have only Mr. & Mrs. Smith in your mind when you think of him but he has show a quality of being a versatile actor in various roles he has done in his carrier. He was nominated for Best Actor for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Moneyball and Best Supporting Actor for 12 Monkeys.

Will Smith

He is best know as an American actor. He has done some brief rapping also. He is the richest star in the Hollywood according to the Forbes. Global Box Office collection of his movies in 2013 only was more than $6.5 billion. His movies do serious business on Box Office. Unfortunately he has not received an Oscar for any of his work, he was nominated for Best Actor for Ali and The Pursuit of Happyness.

    Note the differences between the two paragraphs. I used “the” instead of “as” in the first sentence. I corrected the second sentence by using HAVE
